A People gathered together in a place where God's Word is
heard, learned, and lived.
The congregation at Living Word Lutheran Church gathers for worship every Sunday morning at 800 Hill Top Drive in Cumberland.
This church exists because we believe in following God's Word and want to share the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. Our worship and sermons are solidly based in scripture.
We'd love for you to hear the Gospel and experience Christ with us each Sunday. Our congregation is known for its welcoming attitude toward members and visitors alike. Attendees will enjoy a mix of traditional worship services and traditional/contemporary blended services. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday.
From infant to adult, our church boasts a diverse age range of members with ample opportunity for fellowship and education tailored to each group. Through various ministries, our members are active in charitable causes that range from producing and donating quilts to providing active military service members with Bibles. We have also enjoyed providing coats for local school children and so much more!
